Run for Funds in Hutch

This weekend the J-team will be grouping up with our fellow Phi Theta Kappa members in Hutchinson, KS and running a group run for scholarship money called Run for Funds.  We created the Run for Funds a year and half ago to provide ways to earn scholarship funds for a book scholarship to a graduating Phi Theta Kappa member who will be transferring to a four-year institution.  We are lucky because the conference hotel is near a new bike trail the city of Hutchinson created.  A local running club agreed to map out and mark an out and back 5K route for us along the trail.  I pray God will bless everyone involved including the scholarship recipients Saturday night.  Run for Funds take place early in the morning this Saturday.  It will be an honor to give all participants medals for helping us with out fundraiser!
